The public is invited to assist in the identification of historical hazard events, ranking of county hazards, and developing goals & objectives to help guide hazard mitigation activities across the county. Just read through the Hazard Analysis and Goals & Objectives for your county, and then let us know if you have anything to add or correct.
These sections are excerpts from Hazard Mitigation Plans which are currently being updated by the West Michigan Shoreline Regional Development Commission. When completed and approved by FEMA, the plans will help qualify the counties and local communities for assistance following a disaster declaration.
