Office of Executive Director
Erin Kuhn, Executive Director (231) 722-7878 ext. 18
Erin is responsible for the management and direction of all Commission programs and operations; is the liaison to federal, state, and local governments and the general public; and reports to the governing board.
 
Mary Seeger, Executive Assistant (231) 722-7878 ext. 21
Mary is responsible for assisting the executive director, managing the Federal Project Review System, and providing other services for the administrative and financial management of the Commission.
 
Synthia Copeland, Administrative Assistant (231) 722-7878 ext. 10
Syndi is responsible for providing general assistance and information to the public, administrative support for the Homeland Security Program, technical planning staff, and coordinating Commission publications.
 
Finance and Budget
Susan Stine-Johnson, Finance Manager (231) 722-7878 ext. 12
Susan is responsible for the financial management of the Commission's programs, preparation and maintenance of the budget, and administration of the benefits program.
Homeland Security
Clifford Johnson, Program Manager (231) 722-7878 ext. 14
Cliff is responsible for the management and administration of the homeland security program; and working with the Region 6 Homeland Security Planning Board and its committees.
 
Jim VanBendegom, Homeland Security Project Coordinator/Regional Planner
Jim is responsible for planning for several of the thirteen member counties and for assisting in implementing and completing tasks for three of the region's Committees:  Strategic Planning, Capability Improvements, and Citizen Participation.
 
Kathleen Flannery, Homeland Security Project Coordinator
Kathleen is responsible for assisting in implementing and completing tasks, under the Region 6's Regional Homeland Security Strategy, for two of the region's Committees: Critical Infrastructure and Collaboration.
 
Economic Development
Stephen Carlson, Senior Planner (231) 722-7878 ext. 11
Stephen is responsible for economic development planning and implementation programs, including the Comprehensive Economic Development (CEDS) Annual Report.
 
Transportation Planning
Brian Mulnix, Program Manager (231) 722-7878 ext. 20
Brian is responsible for metropolitan transportation planning (including the Transportation Improvement Program and the Long Range Transportation Plan), transportation asset management, and special transportation studies.
 
Joel Fitzpatrick, Program Manager (231) 722-7878 ext. 16
Joel is responsible for regional transportation planning and assisting in metropolitan planning (including the Transportation Improvement Program and the Long Range Transportation Plan), transportation asset management, and special transportation studies.
 
Environmental Planning
Kathy Evans, Program Manager (231) 722-7878 ext. 17
Kathy is responsible for the Commission’s environmental planning programs, including the Area-wide Water Quality Management Plan, and liaison to the region’s watershed management groups.
 
Greg Mund, Environmental Program Coordinator
Greg is responsible for providing assistance in the implementation of the Muskegon Lake Marine & Habitat Restoration Project.
 
Community Development & Local Government Services

Stephen is responsible for the Commission's Geographic Information System (GIS), and for community development and local government services.
 
Joshua Croff , Planner (231) 722-7878 ext. 15
Joshua is responsible for assisting with the Commission's GIS Program; as well as other planning & development programs.
 
Air Quality & Information & Communications
Amy Haack, Program Manager (231) 722-7878 ext. 19
Amy is responsible for the management of the air quality planning program and the Commission's data center, communications tools (newsletter, annual report, and website) and regional forums.
