The WMSRDC Environmental Program facilitates regional cooperation for the improvement, resiliency and sustainability of West Michigan’s natural resources and water quality. The program provides opportunities for meaningful collaboration among local, state and federal government agencies and West Michigan watershed and conservation organizations and the public. Local environmental needs are identified and addressed within a regional context to meet the environmental goals of local communities, the State of Michigan, the Lake Michigan Watershed and the Great Lakes.
