The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) has made at least 55 investments in the WMSRDC region totaling over $32 million since 1966. The most common investments have been towards Industrial Park and Infrastructure improvements. Other investments have included Technology Centers, Technical Assistance, Economic Studies, and Loans. WMSRDC is active in identifying potential projects for future EDA investments that are consistent with the region’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy.
